Outlook 2003 Error creating profile

This solution is for error message when you try to create a new profile in Outlook 2003: "There was an error locating one of the items needed to complete this operation. It might have been deleted."

This error encountered and can be reproduced with the following:

  • Downgrade Microsoft Office / Outlook 2007 to Office / Outlook 2003.
  • Connecting to exchange server.
  • Operating system: Windows XP Professional.

When you press the power button from your PC, usually located at the front or top of the case and the PC doesn't turn on. Doesn't turn on in this article means that there is no light indicator, you can't hear any sound that indicates fan or hard drive spinning coming out of the system and nothing happens when you press eject button on your CD/DVD drive.

Some steps to trouble shoot PC turn on problem are:

  • Check if the supply to your CPU is on or not. There maybe another switch present at the back of you PC where power cord goes in. You need to switch it on.
  • Check if cables are loose or in bad condition. Starting from the wall, surge protector (if any), battery backup (if any) all the way to your PC. Especially if you have pet, they like to chew this stuff.
  • Check if your power source like where you plug in the power cord is working or not.
  • If you use surge protector or UPS battery back-up make sure they're turned on, by-pass these if necessary.

If above steps are verified and the PC still dead:
