Outlook 2003 Error creating profile http://www.bayareapchelper.com Wed, 08 Sep 2010 07:47:36 +0100 FeedCreator 1.7.2 http://www.bayareapchelper.com/Windows-Tips/Outlook-2003-Error-creating-profile.html#josc1 My problem is similar, only Outlook 2007 has dropped my profile and as I\'m trying to readd this profile, the \'old\' settings are keeping me from being able to make changes. The mapisvc.inf file is not found anywhere on my computer. Any ideas on where Outlook 2007 keeps such settings? I\'m assuming the mapisvc.inf file is an Outlook 2003 file. Try use search to find the file on your system drive (usually C:) Second option is uninstall and reinstall Office/Outlook. I had installed office 2007 on this machine then \"uninstalled\" it and reinstalled 2003. I guess some of the files were hosed as part of that process.
